4 Month Check-up

Owen had his four month check-up today. He now weighs 11 lbs 8.1 oz which puts him in the 50th percentile. His length is 23 inches, and if I remember correctly, he was in the 25th percentile for that. His doctor is really impressed with his strength and ability to lunge and make crawling movements. She couldn't get over how excited and squirmy he was. We still need to work on positioning him because he still has a flat spot on the back left side of his head. I really hope we can work on that enough to make a difference.
We were advised to wait until about 5 to 5 1/2 months to start cereal, so that should be exciting.
Owen was not too happy however about his two shots and the needle prick to test his thyroid. Hopefully all is well with that. I can't believe how quickly he is growing already! :/

  1. glad the check up went well. Keep up with lots & lots of that tummy time. Marissa wound up needing a helmet to correct her flat spot and it was tedious and expensive.
